So, I was born in Leeds, educated in Leeds (moved away from Leeds, to London and then Prague) and I somehow ended up back in sunny old Leeds. That’s the short story anyway.

Short story, long…

I studied at Leeds Arts University, where I got my degree in Creative Advertising after that ‘SEE YA LATER YORKSHIRE’, I hopped on the first bus to London to get my foot in the door - without actually having any job or internship lined up.

And well… it worked (after a lot of grit, sleepless nights & takeaways).

I worked in and out of a few internships in London, The Distillery TV and Iris Worldwide, went to D&AD New Blood, entered various competitions (very odd competitions), had some work up in Mother London, posed as Link for a Dominos version of Zelda (too many people saw it and yes I did read all of the comments).

After all that and more, I got offered a job at McCann Prague to start with immediate effect… ‘IN A BIT LONDON’ - and within two weeks I’d started my career in the Czech Republic. My time in Prague was a whirlwind of pitch wins and grill parties, learning an extremely difficult language and gaining really valuable design knowledge and skills.

Two years later, the motherland was calling me Home. So I started my next chapter at Home Agency, UK. So here I am, back in… sunny old Leeds.
